2026 · Cyber security consultancy
Ironbridge Cyber
Our sister company's site, and our proving ground: a dark, structural, deliberately un-corporate cyber consultancy site that sells a £499 audit as its front door.

The brief
Ironbridge Cyber protects British SMBs through engineering rather than software licences. The site had to make a technical consultancy feel credible in under five seconds, and turn cautious business owners into audit bookings.
The challenge
Cyber security marketing is a sea of padlock icons, hooded stock photography and fear. Buyers have learned to distrust it. We needed to signal rigour and calm competence instead of alarm — while making the commercial route obvious.
Design approach
- We built the identity around structural engineering: riveted steel, load-bearing metaphor, 'structural integrity for your digital frontier'. It positions security as construction, not scaremongering.
- A near-black navy palette with a single steel-blue accent keeps attention on the words. No gradients-for-the-sake-of-it, no stock handshakes.
- One primary action on every screen — Book the £499 audit — with a fixed, published price. Transparency is itself a trust signal in a market full of 'contact us for a quote'.
- Content is organised around the questions buyers actually ask: what the audit covers, what Cyber Essentials involves, what happens afterwards.
How we built it
- Server-side rendered React deployed to a global edge network, so pages arrive in milliseconds anywhere in the UK.
- Strict security headers and a tight content security policy — a security consultancy whose own site fails a header scan has already lost the argument.
- Zero third-party tracking scripts and no cookie-consent clutter; analytics are privacy-first and server-side.
- Fully typed codebase with automated dependency scanning on every commit, so a vulnerable package is caught before it ships.
SEO & AI search
- Per-page titles, descriptions and canonical URLs, with Organization and Service structured data so search engines understand the entity, not just the words.
- Written for AI answer engines as well as Google: clear definitions, direct answers and quotable paragraphs that assistants can cite accurately.
- Insights section targeting the long-tail questions UK SMBs search before they buy security help.
Outcome
A consultancy site that loads instantly, passes its own security review, and puts a priced, low-friction first step in front of every visitor.
